چکیده
Background: This study was conducted to compare and evaluate the effectiveness of I-gel over endotracheal tube with regards respiratory hemodynamic parameters in laproscopic surgeries. Methods: In this 60 adult patients either sex, ASA status I or II, aged 16 years, undergoing laparoscopic surgeries under general anesthesia were randomly studied. Group-A (I-gel) appropriate sized inserted, Group-B (ETT) patient’s airway secured laryngoscopy-guided intubation. Monitoring PR, MBP, SpO2 EtCO2 done throughout peri-operative period. Haemodynamic ventilatory recorded before induction (baseline), just after intubation, then at 1, 3 5 min insertion/intubation, pneumoperitoneum, change position, release pneumoperitoneum removal/extubation. Results: Following insertion device there significant rise PR (3 intubation [P = 0.011, df-58, CI-95%]) MBP 0.02, CI-95%], 0.04, when compared patients. no difference 0.778, CI-95%]), 0.75, Conclusions: requires less time for minimal haemodynamic changes ETT. can be a safe suitable alternative ETT surgery.
